RANT ALERT.....so it has been almost 2 years since me and my ex BFF have seen or talked to each other. I thought I could trust her with everything, but apparently not. She is one that has to have all the attention and will do anything to get it. So once I got engaged she had to be engaged, which was fine with me I didn't care, but her and her husband only got married and had a kid right away so he could get extra pay from the military. And it's her life so I didn't say anything. But when she came back down to see family she told me she was pregnant, and then started talking about baby names. She went through a whole list both boys and girls. She finally asked me if I had a name picked out for whenever I got pregnant, I told her ya and so I told her my boys name. What does she do...she freaking takes my baby name. I know it sounds dumb, but should she have done that? It pissed me off so much that we quit talking after my wedding. We talked for a month before and during my wedding but after it was over we never have seen or talked in 2 years. Any thoughts?

Honestly I had a "friend" like that and it's better to never talk to them again because they will do the same thing over and over again!

I'd be mad... Sounds like she wants to be like you. I cut all my friends loose who did that.

Sounds like you handled that much better than I would've. I don't blame you for a second. I had a "best friend" like this. For 8 years I never thought it would've ended like it did. Still bugs me.

No she shouldn't have! Especially if she was supposed to be your best friend. I agree with Lynn, sounds like she wanted to BE you. Doing everything you're doing and being an attention hog.. Sounds like you're better off without her. It sucks losing someone you're close with but some relationships are just toxic ):

And that is exactly why my husband and I kept the name to ourselves till she arrived, literally. People suck and want others lives.

well she now has two kids and I'm not even sure if the second one is his. she has a tendency to cheat, when we were working together she texted a guy that gave her his # in the middle of the shift and on our break he texted him, and showed me the whole conversation. it wasn't a good one.
