just call your ob and ask for the letter saying you can see the dentist that's what i had to do now im getting my wisdom teeth out the 22nd (:

Why do you need her approval? I never had to have approval and dental hygiene is even more important while pregnant!

Hmm I've never heard of that, I got regular cleanings and fillings while pregnant, they had to use different numbing stuff on me because I was pregnant but that was it.

Because some of the things you may need done to your teeth needs meds to put you to sleep stuff like so they don't want to do it unless your on says it's okay or like if you need a tooth pulled if your a high risk pregnancy MOST ob's won't let it happen you'll have to wait till baby born

My doctor doesn't let you go to the dentist for even a teeth cleaning. Maybe it is on the states? I thought it was weird but when I told my mom she said it was normal and my dentist even told me they couldn't do anything until after the baby.
