Honestly the way I see it as your the one carrying this baby and going through labor and delivery so it is totally your decision of the name. My man hated the name I picked for my son but he got used to it

Keep the name you like. Nobody liked the name we have picked out at first, but they got over it since it's our child and not theirs. It's whatever makes you happy.

keep the name you like!! don't let others influence you to change because they don't like it. only person I would compromise with is the dad, but if your not together I wouldn't mind him to much either lol

I think that the baby is you and your husbands. It takes two to make a baby, so you should at least agree on a name. Unless you're the one who's going to be the sole caretaker and dad has no part in the baby's life.

thank you everyone. @aliepaige my boyfriend and I agreed from the beginning that if it was a boy he would pick the name and if it was a girl I could pick but I do want him to like it.

that's how we agreed, my bf wasn't sure at first but he agreed to it because I liked it so much.

Keep the name you like, DO NOT change because of what someone else is saying.I really disliked when I told my mother my daughters name, she told our cousin and our cousin tried to tell me it was "illegal" to give a baby two names as their first, my mom haven't even heard of that before 🙄 but anyways she loves it now. They'll get use to it.

if you and the dad are together I suggest talking about names to see if he has any ideas that's how my husband and I compromised on the name we chose and I love this one more than the one that I had wanted so badly . but if you're not together then I would keep it if he doesn't plan on being as involved in the baby's life as you plan to be.
