Ladies who arw working/Worked while pregnant! How did you tell your boss you were pregnant? Starting to show and I don't know how to tell her. I hope they don't get rid of me and use the excuse "you can't perform the functions of this job because you're pregnant".

It's illegal for them to fire you for being pregnant. And I would just come out and say it. That's what I did.

Just be upfront! And by law they can't fire you due to pregnancy. It def may cause tension amongst you & coworkers that's what happen to me but you have to take care of yourself first.

I had a sit down with my boss as soon as my morning sickness started. I told her what was going on. Luckily they can't fire your for being pregnant. But make sure you don't do any heavy lifting. And if your job requires that get a note from your doctor saying you can't.
