My boppy pillow cover came in today! If anyone was curious, I did a lot of research trying to find out if the boppy brand covers would fit leacho cuddle-u pillows and could not find anything recent (within 5 years.) So from my personal experience, the leacho pillow was something like $30 at Wal-Mart, comparable in price to a boppy ($45) but it comes with a removable slip cover that has a securing sling to keep baby from slipping out while nursing or propping. While this feature is very useful for those nursing, I didn't see myself using this feature for a few months, so I went ahead and purchased a boppy cover for use until that time comes. I was pleasantly surprised that the cover fit PERFECTLY. So for $55 (pillow+cover) I have a comparable pillow to the original boppy, a cute fuzzy cover with all of the same aesthetics as boppy, and a second cover that is additionally more functional. All for the price I could have spent on a boppy and a basic slip cover. 😘
