My baby enjoyed his first class. The bubbles got his attention and landed on his forehead. Mommy and daddy was so proud of our 6 weeks old. 😍😍 #daddysboy #dontforgetwhogotthetittiesethan #mommyischoppedliver
@jadenmom, thanks. I work at monte north 233. It's about that in central avenue. I'm in Parkchester. You delivered at Lawrence? And whoever is going to take care of him can also take Jaden if that's possible. I'm not going back to work till the end of May. And we both work the night shift 3 days a week so we would take turns in taking him. Btw there's a free trial before you commit to see if you and Jaden likes it.
I go back to work 3/21 I wonder how much I can get out of this before I be forced to only weekends.
ok. I'm uptown white plains road close to 225. (I delivered my baby in Bronxville).....I'm sure Scarsdale is about a 15 min drive for me.
@jadenmom, his first class was Tuesday. I think it would be beneficial to start at an early age. I agree he might be too young but the parents that were there started early and their babies range from 4-6 months. The good thing is they have classes everyday that falls in our infants age group that's taught by different instructors at various times including the weekend and that's a bonus. I suggest you look into it and speak to a coordinator for further info. And it's also a way for ftm if you are to socialize. What part of the Bronx you live.
what milestones have u noticed in ur 1month old so.far? do u think its due to the class or just regular child development?
do u honestly think it is very beneficial at such an early age? ? I'm going to look into it. but when I go back to work I will only be available on weekends so I hope the money will be worth it for weekends only.
@jadenmom, there's all through NYC but we prefer the one in Scarsdale for convenience.
@jadenmom, it's called Gymboree and they offer developmental programs that's age-appropriate activities to help develop the cognitive, physical and social skills of children as they play. We take the play and learn 0-6 mth class that Explore the senses and support visual and auditory development with tummy time, flashlight play, first songs and more. As the baby gets older there is different classes. You have art and music classes also. It's $124 per month with a 3 month commitment. Gymboree masses.com and it's part of the gymboree clothing store company
Oh cool. I have family in parkchester. yes I delivered at Lawrence. I will definitely check it out. especially the free trial. if nothing else it will give me something to do in the daytime now. I have no idea who will be caring for him yet :-( but I doubt the option will be able to take him......
