Well she ended up using the blanket after like 4 times of not lol @twinmommy2016 I know I'm probably gonna breastfeed in public but I'm gonna buy one of those cover things they have my husband is against it totally and wants me to make bottles before I leave the house so we will see

exactly what @twinmommy2016 said... sorry, but if my baby is uncomfortable under a blanket then I could care less about what anyone else in the room thinks, I will whip my boob out and my baby will get fed.. and I pity whoever decides they want to make a scene.

I personally think that a women should be able to breastfeed without being covered up. it's stupid for people to think that it's inappropriate and then turn around and gawk at the girls who have their tits hanging out for no reason

Yea I agree with that @arijane316 I have no issue with the whole feeding obviously I never did it with my first because he was mainly bottle fed it was just the way she was doing it I guess if you guys would of seen what I was talking about then it might be a little different breastfeeding is great don't get me wrong everyone was giving her these looks especially my mom and she's like you Better cover up when you have yours I don't care myself it was everyone else's reaction and it's a breastfeeding friendly hospital @littlemissrainesmommy @arijane316 @twinmommy2016

I cover because I'm more comfortable, but it makes it hard to latch. One of mine can't latch and has to bottle feed (I pump), and the other just takes a few minutes to latch. If she's covered latching, she gets frustrated. I have to wait until she's already latched to cover.

I think it's still made a sexual thing no matter how natural it is. I just think it's better to cover up.

Hm I wonder if that's why my son wouldn't latch right away because I always tried to cover not in public feeding but at home like if I'm in the living room with my mom or family I would try and use a blanket and it seemed he hated it and would have a hard time of course in my room it was easy cuz I didn't cover but I was young at the time @twinmommy2016

No offense but your mom has no place telling how to feed your baby. @twinmommy2016 that's fine if you're more comfortable being covered. what I'm saying is that it's stupid for people to EXPECT us to cover up. it's bot their body, not their baby, and they have no right or place telling us to cover ourselves. it's not illegal. it's not indecent. those people can get right over it. @kylieplus2 if she was just whipping it out and sitting there with her boob out until she got her kid to her chest and when the kid was done, then yea that's not cool.

@pandabear911, she never said anything about not doing it herself.. @kylieplus2 exactly. there's a video going around facebook of a social experiment some girls and a guy did. one girl was wearing a super low cut shirt (her boobs would have fallen out of it if they were any bigger) and one girl was "breastfeeding". first they had them seperate, guys drooled over the one and told the mother that what she was doing was disgusting, then they put them together and the guy stood with them and when someone said that the breastfeeding was disgusting, the guy stepped in and was like "what's wrong with feeding a child? you think that's gross but you don't think her having her boobs out for no reason is gross? what's wrong with you?" it infuriated me.

Oh yea I saw that and it made me angry as well like how do you yell at a woman feeding her child to put it away and go somewhere else but a girl with low cut clothes can walk around half naked that video was very irritating to see how people really are I'll never understand @arijane316

Some babies won't eat with covers one moment but will the next. She may have had the blanket with her to help baby sleep and not as a cover up. I don't think there should be a big deal about feeding your kid in public when there are women who can walk around with their breasts nearly falling out and no cares.

i say those who take issue with breastfeeding in a hospital of all places should cover your head and eat not the baby, you can "whip" out a breast in a discreet manner if you so choose to but I mean once you see her breast is out to feed a baby wjats the big deal? and what exactly do people see anyway titty meat not the nipple I know even getting the baby to latch you don't really see the nip because baby is concealing it when trying to latch. I have huge areola my bf bullied me into covering more but when we went out a lady flipped her tit from under her shirt and he said oh she's tiny and has tiny tits so she can do it and I feel most ppl think that if you're little with little tits public breastfeeding is not such a big deal it's is busty girls that make people uncomfortable I've seen with my own eyes and the most judgmental of them all are other mothers !smh to each her own I would rather see a tit feeding a baby than one just out for no reason of value

@kylieplus2 I discovered the other day that one of my twins will NOT latch or nurse covered!! She hates it!! I pulled it off to latch her and she latched. Covered her back up to eat, and she unlatched immediately. She was NOT having it. She likes to look around while nursing at home, but I never really gave it a second thought. She showed me!! And half of the grocery store the goods too!!

Haha oh wow I'm pretty sure I'll have my moments I never nursed in public before I only nursed at home mostly at night but this time I want to only breastfeed @twinmommy2016
