I'll be 39 weeks tomorrow and my SO and I are still very sexually active (at least once a day) now last time I went to the hospital was a week ago and they told me I was only dilated 1cm and now 25% thinned. I know my SO has been gifted in that area but last time we had sex I felt a little pain (not enough to stop) and I felt like he was able to go in further than he's ever before. Does this happen when you dilate more and if so is it time to stop having sex?

Wow you go girl at that stage I was all like "nope not happening" but it's sounds like you have dilated a little more do you know if you have lost your mucus plug yet

@reaganmommy2015, it's been to the point if we don't have sex at least once a day I'm really mean :/ and I can't control it. Too my knowledge I haven't lost my mucus plug I was hoping it would have come out already but then again (super tmi I'm sorry) I've seen pictures where it just looks like thick cum so it could have and I would have just brushed it off as that :(

@nicolerawrr, well usually if you do lose your mucus plug your not supposed to have sex cause it can cause infections so just keep an eye out and it kinds of looks like cum but more thick and a lot of mucus kind of like when your sick and you blow your nose and it's all green it will look like that just clear rather then green

@regganmommy2015, thank you :) once/if I lose it then it's time to stop :P I'll have to ask my OB to see if she can tell if I've lost it or not or perhaps see how dilated I am now
