Why do you HAVE to do csection?

I'm curios of the reason why too?

My body can't physically handle pushing out more than a 4lb baby. When I had my son (naturally) he got stuck for 3-4 minutes and he came out really blue and didn't start breathing until about 2-3 after he was "born" and I had to be cut all the way to my butt (4th degree cut). And he was 9lbs 7 oz.

So it's medically necessary. And I am so upset about it but I'm trying to stay positive.

Awww honey I'm sorry to hear that. Just think that the doctors wouldn't make you do anything that wouldn't keep you and baby healthy which is most important. Once you see baby all that being upset will go out the window and it'll be a thing of the past

There's a lot of reasons why a mother would have to have a c section. But I had a breech baby my first pregnancy. The doctor wouldn't even try to turn her around because she was too big and I had a short torso, so I had one. Advice I can give? Don't worry too much about the recovery. Everyone says it's "horrible" but it wasn't that bad. Sore, yes. But not super painful. Different hospitals do different after birth procedures, so find out if the hospital you're delivering at has baby in room with you the whole stay or not. If you want to breastfeed, don't worry that your milk won't come in because it was a c section. It will. Just pump (if you don't have baby near you at all times) or feed as much as possible.

Oh honey, that sounds just awful. I am so sorry. I am a FTM and am praying to God everyday that everything goes well with my little one. I hope and pray the same for you.
