My SO and I have a puppy. A husky who still has to grow. The house we are looking to rent in Fort Worth doesn't allow anything over 35 lbs. but he's seeing if they would just let us have her and not have any other pets. We would like that house because it's got 3 bedrooms so his daughter and the baby when it gets here won't have to share, but it costs 1,100 a month. And to afford that we both have to be working. But I can only work as long as my pregnancy goes well, until baby is born. Then I planned on staying at home. He says he's gonna tell his boss to give him a raise since his boss told him to move. But I just feel so worried.

@nebraskaflower, I have a pure breed Siberian husky and he is an extremely high maintenance dog. He's absolutely beautiful and smart but very high energy. He jumps out 6ft fence in are back yard and he eats my trees. I have to put Cheyenne pepper on my trees and shrubs. He also is a digger. I would for sure look into reading up on this breed and make sure to train him well.

my sister had the same problem with her bf and their husky puppy, they just went online and bought certification saying shes a service dog and now ahe has a house somewhere that doesnt even allow dogs, plus you can bring your dog anywhere then too so thats a bonus. i believe it costed around 60-80 dollars and you get quite a bit of stuff too, like vest and a service dog card

@dessamarie, My puppy is a registered emotional support animal, but by law you are required to have a letter of prescription from a therapist. And @mamabee believe me. I have read up on them. I know exactly how high maintenance they are. You don't have to tell me how they act. I know. Believe me. My dog chewed the lattice off the deck. She chewed the pull cord off the lawnmower. I know how huskies are. You don't have to tell me. I paid an immense amount of money for this dog. Of course I'm going to look into it.

its not an emotional support dog, its a service dog. and anyone can buy certification for a service dog. @nebraskaflower

@nebraskaflower, I just like to warn people because we were ones that didn't look into his breed and later learned. Ours too was a very expensive show dog!! He's absolutely a great dog! Hope I didn't a fend you in any way! Every dog is completely different also. I have a chorkie and chihuahua also. They are one big happy family!
