Yes!!! My fiance proposed on Christmas, which is apparently a pretty popular day for proposals, had no idea, but the thought was amazing. he drove over an hour and a half one way to buy my dream ring, had a silver "gift box" ornament imported from Ireland and hid it in the Christmas tree for me to find after we all opened gifts. This girl on my Facebook ranted about how she would never want her man to propose on Christmas, it's so cliche, just an excuse not to get a gift blahblah. the funny thing was, 2 or 3 weeks prior, she found out her boyfriend cheated on her and claimed up and down she wouldn't take him back unless he ringed her. she still isn't engaged. take your salty as elsewhere

yup. they got back together, no ring, then starts bitching that when women get engaged, they post pics of the ring without getting their nails done. her friend chimes in that she told her boyfriend "if he ever proposes, warn me to get my nails done first". like why are other people caught up in rings and nails being done? you don't have to wear the ring, you don't have to look at the nails, like grow up.

The buku ring comment made me laugh lol. I find it funny that often when people (men and women actually) see my ring, they're like, "wow. Somebody LOVES YOU." I'm like what does my ring size have to do with how much my husband loves me?
