I would assume they put you to sleep but I would definitely ask you doctor about it

really? @foleytwins I thought after baby is out they would put me to sleep.. I get this anxiety when having c sections. and now knowing that it will be longer it scares me

but I just read something now that says ur put under short acting general anesthesia

so I might have misunderstood him

well from what I read it says they r just going to use the same incision that they use to deliver the baby. they didn't say if they would put u to sleep. but if they r going thru the same incision I would think they would just go ahead and tie the tubes while they're in there.
