CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN WHY U CAN'T EAT WHILE IN THE HOSPITAL ????

You can eat just small meals. Until after you get a certain amount of centimeters.

😂😂 the comments about pooping , really? That's definitely not the reason.. pooping is natural during child birth and will not hurt anyone,

but having to be put under and choking on your vomit is the #1 reason.

you would think so lol, but she likes to taunt you just like her smiling in the ultrasound

Some meds can make you nauseous & throw up, also I was told in case surgery is needed

because during labor u can end up pooping on the doctor and they have to clean it up real fast so won't be on baby

@makenziesmommy, no I didn't get to because labor started and yes you can still poop while pushing but it's less of a chance

Anesthetics and other drugs can make you vomit and if you're unconscious you will swallow and more than likely inhale it. If you inhale your own vomit there are a lot of complications it causes from infection and all kinds of other possibilities.

Not that you need a C section or anything, but in those case scenarios they have you keep an empty stomach

They might have to put you on oxygen and put tubes down your throat in an maternal emergency postpartum/during delivery for you if you have trouble breathing or something or they might need to do a C-section

You poop when you push a baby put period lol all women have done it some time or another having babies it is so you don't throw up they don't need you choking

Pooping during labor is probably more normal than not pooping in labor

I'm sorry I went through the same thing girl @makenziesmommy I didn't get to eat dinner the night before I was in labor for 24 hours

In case of an emergency where they have to put you under with anesthesia. You could aspirate on vomit
