what a busy day... been for my scan babys around 6lb 2oz.. had my first lot of steroids today and my god nobody told me they hurt like hell!!! Safe to say midwife heard a few swear words!!! not looking forward to 2nd lot tomorrow... booked in for my pre opp monday ready to have her Wednesday.. been having tightning all day since had that steroid injection any one else experience this?

I had to hav steriod tablets I didn't hav any side effects thou luckily xx

I had steroid injections with my 1st at 28 weeks and they were painful but had no side effects. Don't believe they are supposed to bring in labour just strengthen the babies lungs x

I had to have steroids with all 5 of my pregnancies as I'm prone to prem labour. will have to have them with this baby. no side effects though. just a slight bruise @babyboots xx

Mine didn't seem to hurt as much 2nd time round. Whether it was because I knew what to expect from the first or whether it just doesn't I'm not sure. Just keep your mind concentrated on Lily and how it won't be long now and I am sure that will help. Be thinking about you x

@babuboots, no they were no where near as bad as the first! I honestly thought they would but they were over a lot quicker too! xxx
