is there anything I could do if my insurance only covers 6 pills for my nausea/ MS? my dr doesnt…

@jm10, they might have the option for them to order them for you and you can pay for them I think my doctor offered me 20 for $50

really i called my dr office they said they prescribed 30 pills and had me call my pharmacy but they told me I had to wait until next month 😳 in the bottle they gave me it says 6 pills for $50 @babybee

I wouldn't even pay for those! You should try B6 vitamin with zyrtec during the day, and B6 with Unisom at night!

@babybee, yes it is I have 2 pills left im just going to use them when I really need too

@babymay2016, do you need prescription for those? ive tried vitamin B6 and ginger root pills they take the nausea away but at night I get it again

No they are all over the counter! I even take the off brand ones which were even cheaper! You can take B6 and Zyrtec lets say at 9am, and B6 and Unisom at 9pm. Every twelve hours! The unisom will help you sleep too, which is why they say to only use that one at night.

the price for me to get medicine prescribed was nearly 500$ even with both of my insurance! So my doctor suggested this instead! Super cheap and works just as well

I tried b6 first too.. made mine worse instead of acid I threw up foam!!! my insurance wouldn't cover them so I called my ob after hours and said I had the flu and couldn't keep water down but I wanted to do anything possible to avoid the er so she gave me an anti nausea prescription because they were prescribed for the flu insurence covered it!

No problem! Anything to help a sister through some morning sickness. I had all day sickness until at least 17 weeks. Terrible, just terrible.

omg hun I dont get it often and its only once threw the day but i feel sick after i throw up and since i dont eat much sometimes nothing comes out @babymay2016
