it really pisses my off when my SO other can blow all of our tax money but complain when I decided to get our son some stuff off of amazon. Like seriously he gave the watress last night at bdubs a $20 tip & today he's spending like $40 on movies but is telling me he's going to be tight on money for this week, and I haven't even gotten anything he said I would be able to get. Well maybe if he would quit blowing ot on everything it wouldn't be a problem.

@spacekitty0426, I understand that but my point is he gave a $20 tip last night and is complaining about not going to have any money for this week.

right. yes I get that. but when you go out for a meal at a restaurant which is also spending you need to tip. if you were tight on cash to begin with maybe you should've cooked something or picked up some take out. when you go out to eat expect to tip. sorry if I sound Like a jerk just seems like maybe you could've made a cheaper decision. and if he likes to spend money all willy nilly maybe you should have a rational conversation with him.

I think he did leave too much as a tip .. He could have left 5 dollars .. But maybe y'all need to sit down and have a talk

@spacekitty0426, I didn't mind him tipping. I wouldn't be complaining if he would have tipped a $5. I thi k you should always tip, just $20 is a little too much.

@daisyr3, @mommyoftwo1 I agree he should have just tipped a 5.

$20 is too much unless a big family went to eat...$5 or $10 is good. and even when ppl are tight on money they should be able to spend some money to go eat out and enjoy some time with family. ...and tip whatever they can afford. ...just because they cant tip $20 doesn't means tbey can't go out and eat.

I don't know how much you spent at dinner before tipping but don't go to a restaurant and make someone run around like crazy and only leave them 5$ Smh...

I wasn't trying to be rude. it just seemed to me like maybe you could have talked budget with him before going out for a nice meal where some tired human waits on you hand and foot and has taken crap from ppl all day and probably cries on the bathroom or hides in the walk in every chance they get because some prick just walked out on their 50 dollar tab which they now hafta pay for or something. yes I know I just ranted but maybe that 20 dollar tip made that girls night. maybe it didn't need to be that much but you could have said something before making the decision to go out and get waited on.
