Anyone use primrose oil to kick start labor? I'm reading all really good reviews on doing it

didn't work. I was still almost 2 weeks late and had a c-section after 3 days of labor

Didn't work for me either. I too ended up having a c-section, but because the baby's heart rate dropped

I've been taking it for the past five days and I have an appointment today so I'll know if it's helped at all. I've been 2cm for two weeks so hoping for some change. I also have been walking up and down the stairs everyday and bouncing on an exercise ball and today it feels like my daughter is super low and ready to come out. Praying for good things today :)

@kbashoor11, omg good luck!!!!!!! Yes please let me know if you've progressed! I hear all good things, and if it doesn't help start labor I've read it will help to not have an episiotomy. Good luck momma

@allisongarrett, yes I've read that too!! I did a lot of reading on it before I went out and bought it. If anything it helps tone your cervix which makes for an easier labor. I'm super excited for my appointment! I'll for sure let you know :)

@allisongarrett, I just got out of my appointment and my cervix is very thinned out from the primrose oil and he stripped my membranes and dilated me to a 4 so should be soon! :)
