does anyone else suffer with syatica (or how ever its spelled) just curious as my Midwife is trying…

Yes I've suffered with it. The sciatic nerve being pinched in the bottom of my back. I got a new mattress and sleep with a pillow between my legs. Also certain moves you can do which can help (Google them) and a gym ball helps. It's fairly common during pregnancy. Xx

my back isn't a problem its my left hip and top of my left leg....I sleep with a pillow between my legs but it dosnt help I'll google the excersizes...thank you xx

I'm having physio for sciatica at the moment and the exercises and stretches don't seem to help very much, my sciatica is in my bum cheek and top of leg, I found that pacing myself and not doing too much housework etc. in one go helps a lot and a hot water bottle on my leg helps too. Everyone is different though so physio may be worth a try :) x

it sounds like its in the Same place as yours @lou it starts in my hip and finished around half way down my thigh :/ x

my mum suffered for the same reason she had 2 sessions of acupuncture and hasn't had any pain since!! not sure if its allowed during pregnancy or not but def worth looking into xx

can't have it during pregnancy but if it's still there when my little girl is born I may try that thank you @tam77 xx
