Well, Samira is on a 6 day antibiotic. She developed sinus congestion around Tuesday, but I didn't think anything of it since she's gotten stuffy quite a bit this winter. But on Wednesday she developed a slight cough that gradually got worse as the days went by and eventually turned into a congested cough that sounded like hacking. By Thursday night she had a low grade fever of 100.2 degrees Fahrenheit. Friday I called the doctors and they said to do mist treatments throughout the weekend. I took her into the ER today because she was coughing every few minutes and gagging and puking while coughing, she would barely eat anything, and had had only 1 wet diaper from 7 AM until about 3 PM. They diagnosed her with bronchiolitis, but said it's the early stages so it'll be easier to treat (thank goodness). I'm glad I followed my gut on this one and didn't wait to see if it'd eventually run its course. I thought it was just a basic cold.
