Help!
My husband's parents are divorced. My daughter's first birthday is coming up and we only planned ONE party. Now his dad and step mom are choosing not to come because the ex wife (my husband's real mom) is going to be there.
I hate to have anyone left out but I don't want to plan multiple parties for the rest of my daughter's life.

my grandma in law and mother in law don't really get along. for my baby shower my mil didn't come because my Gil came. instead she threw me a separate baby shower. but I was still pissed cause they're adults and should act like it. they're family regardless and my daughter deserves them to act like it. 😩

My parents are that way. I told them they can either get along and spend time together for me and my son or they can choose to miss out on important things in his life. Because at the end of the day it's about him not them.

they need to suck it up and get over it and do it for ur daughter. I had the same issue for my babyshower alot of my family doesn't get along and I finally snapped (preggoproblems) and told them all to grow the hell up and they ended up showing up. .. I mean come on its ur baby's bday it's the least they can do especially cause there grown!!
