Nutramigean is still milk based the milk proteins are broken down though similar to gentlease but more broken down.

Similac has a similar version called alimentum. My son drinks that.

WIC will only cover nutramigen if you provide them with a Dr note saying your baby needs it. Just something to keep in mind

Really? I've switched my baby to Gentlease and they didn't require a note for that. They didn't need a note when we switched to Gerber soy either. I think nutramigen and the ready to use liquid formulas are the only ones you need a note for here
