TMI post. Okay I thought I had a yeast infection but when I looked up the symptoms it says itchy, cottage like cheese discharge, odor, and burning when peeing... All I have is itchiness. Like inside my vagina, not on the outside. And I haven't had sex in weeks or anything.. I dunno what it could be! I don't have any discharge or anything like that... Does anyone know? Is it because I'm so far along and I'm stretching down there?

I had it, my OB had to prescribe me something to take doing the night. You should talk to your OB about it

its possible to have a yeast infection without the other symptoms I didn't know until my doctor told me ask you ob they should be able to prescribe something

Yes im sure bacterial infection it's common I wouldn't worry it sucks ..yogurt helps, I took Azo over the counter pull oked by my doctor ...it helped

@fancy.shattuck, can I buy that over the counter? How long does it take to help and is it safe to take during pregnancy?

Yes you can buy it just about anywhere. I got mine from Dollar General. They have a one time use, 3 day, & 7 day but my OBGYN told me during pregnancy to use the 7 day but yes it's completely safe. Mine only took about 2 days to work. I always washed before I did it too. Wear a panty liner too because it can "leak" some.

Yes! I had this.. Deff get Monistat or have them prescribe.. It was cheaper for me to have them prescribe an rx version of monistat.. It was only $1 compared to Monistat's $10-$15.. Lol. I didnt have much discharge either.. Really just itchiness.. Then they swabbed inside and it was a yeast infection.. It is possible it could be a bacterial too.. So your best bet is to just have them check it out to be on the safe side.. That way you get the right medicine and dont have to worry about spending money twice if the first doesnt work.. Its a pain, i know. Goodluck Mama!!
