Anyone that's taken progesterone to prevent premature labor know if you can have sex while on it?…

I just had preterm labor and my doctor said absolutely no sex. I don't know if it goes for everyone but when you orgasm it causes contractions. hope this helps!

oh shoot then I'm not sure. you could always call labor and delivery at your local hospital and they should be able to tell you a little more like if you should just hold out until you can speak with your doctor but good luck either way mama!:) @_stephanie.g

I was told not to with this one but it was in the first trimester. She also recommends using a condom if we do have it now (and not to have it often). Sperm has the power to get you pregnant and the power to get the baby out haha

I been on the progesterone shots since I was 16 weeks pregnant with this baby and now I'm #33Weeks5Days and been having sex since I been on the shot and everything is fine and my cervix is still tight @_stephanie.g .. I had a miscarriage last year February with my first baby a boy when I was 5 months prego so they put me on the progesterone this time around to help me go full term and its working really good👌👌
