Having to leave my baby in the nicu after being discharged has been the hardest thing I've had to go…

@ryliannsmommy, I was induced at 36 weeks for cholestasis of pregnancy, and even though he weight 7 pounds and was 20 inches long his lungs still hadn't fully developed and he needed a little help with oxygen. But then they ran some cultures, and they found he has some sort of gram negative bacteria growing... And now he has jaundice.

I know your pain. My daughter was in the nicu for 9 weeks before she got to come home!! Hang in there.. He's in good hands :) @mombie2be

@avaldez, that's the only thing that keeps me at ease is knowing that all the nurses in the nicu are so sweet.

Yes they are! There doing there best to make your baby better. He'll be home before you know it :) @mombie2be

I had too do that wit my daughter she was In there for a week n came home xmas day.but u have too think/know it for the best to get your baby healthy too go home,, do u live far from the hospital? they might have a room u can stay in?

I had my daughter at 32weeks last year and she was also in the nicu due to only being 2lbs 11oz and 15in long

@alannamom, hopefully he can come home in a week! I know! I'm just being selfish a little. I know he's safe there. And that's where he needs to be. I live 30 miles away :(
