Today 9 yrs ago my grandfather, Major General Adrian St. John II, was burried. he was one of the most influential men in my life. serving our country for 54 years in the US Army. He had the most amazing stories one could want to hear. I was his only granddaughter and he was my best friend. miss him every day and wish he were here to meet his great grandchildren. Baby (If a boy) will be named after him. Rest in paradise Grandpa!

yes he joined the army in 1939. his father before him was a Colonel in the Army. he loved his job.

if u Google his name u can find a ton of info on what he has done. worked in Vienna for 10 yrs. helped with stuff in bosnia. has medals from Vietnam war and ww2. has a medal of valor. he was an amazing man. @ashmac15 he graduated early from west point in 1943. that year there were 2 classes that graduated and he was in the 1st class and then sent to Normandy beach. he actually had shrapnel still in his body after being to close to a bomb that blew up.
