@alainalovesmommy, @tigerlilly I know that now. lol I sat through basically all my labor contractions at home because my mom & boyfriends mom kept telling me it was too early for me to be in real labor. I "needed to wait for my water to break". Well that never happened & since I listened to them once my bf finally took me to the hospital I was 9cm. So next time I know better than waiting bc pushing him out without any pain meds was way painful. Worth it, but painful. lol

@rosexo, The doctor thought she was gonna have to break mine but when she came back to see if I was at 10cm it had already broke.

I waited until I was 6 cm , doctors were about to break my water after and hour or so already being there but it broke right before they did it . my doctor knew I didn't want any pain meds they still kept asking me

Mine started with contractions first as well. I remember the nurse was like "I'm gonna get the dr so we can break ur water and like 5 mins later It broke at like 8 cm. lol

my grandma waited til she knew the baby was going to come out, cause she didnt wanna sit in the hospital waiting in the dirty rooms. this is in 1960 so its alot different and it was her 2nd pregnancy. she said she was bleeding when she was being pushed. threw the hospital to deliver my uncle.

96% of women have their water break during active labor/pushing. Can you believe only 4% have it break before contractions/labor truly starts?

@tigerlilly, Having my baby without meds was not my intention though. I was just listening to the wrong people. @kmally Nope didn't know that. I thought a woman's water broke before labor most the time. But now I know from personal experience that's not true. lol

mine broke with both of my kids...the funny part is that it happened around the same time. with my son, my water broke at 5:40am and with my daughter at 5:30am .

my son put his toe in mine so he busted my water then made me wait over 24 for him to be c section because I would not go pass 2 cm
