Does anybody use dove soap on their baby? Her doctor recommended it to us but I wasn't sure if that…

Yes my daughters pediatrician told me to use it too because her skin was sensitive and would dry out with everything else @marcelljessica

no I haven't. but if she has eczema or dry sensitive skin try using Aveeno for babies and Aquaphor it works wonders. I also use natural Shea and cocoa butter for moisturizers instead of lotions

Yes that's exactly what he told me also even to this day she uses it but I also use aveeno on her she is half black and half Mexican so her skin tends to get dry sometimes but if I use aveen or dove it woks amazing on her @marcelljessica

ok yea, I ended up coming up with my own lil routine for my daughter skin care. I give her a bath every other day and use the Oatmeal bath from Aveeno and the Aveeno baby soap but I only use white towels to wash her skin with (they have less dyes so it doesn't irritate her skin) and the put Aquaphor on first and use a little but of the Shea butter. I usually put the Aquaphor on 3 times a day....morning noon and night. I just hate using the stuff the doctor tries to prescribe because its a sterioid and usually has a bleaching agent in it. So far my routine has work really well

I'm really gonna try the Aveeno. My baby uses the baby towels tho, lol. Do they have baby white towels? What brand of shea butter do you use? @_supermommie2173

I get mine from the hair store actually or a store called sprouts (idk if u have that store where u live) but try going to the hair store and see if you can find it. you won't find it like this in a regular store unless its like in a lotion form (like Palmers)
