Am I the only one that thinks you should wait til your daughter asks to get her ears pierced before…

I wouldn't do it, but if someone does it to their kid it doesn't effect me one bit

I agree with @emily18234. I plan on piercing my daughter's ears. If she chooses she doesn't like them she can take them out and the hole will close back up over time. No harm no foul. :)

Same ^^^ if someone else does it, it definitely dont affect me, but if i have a baby girl Ill personally wait for her to decide.

They come out lol and the holes can grow up. So if they don't like it they aren't stuck with it, it's more like mommy playing dress up with her baby. Now I've seen people go and get tattoos put on their kids which is wrong because that stays with them forever and they can't do anything about it

I agree. My mom waited and I appreciate her doing that. I'll be doing the same for my daughters. When they're older if they want it then of course but not before they're old enough to decide for themselves

@rylansmomma, they don't close up all the way. My grandma pierced my moms ears and she didn't like them so took them out when she got a little older and now at 40 she still has the holes visible in the front

Mine closed up, I couldn't wear them because I'd always get infections, but one is completely closed and the other one isn't because I tried redoing it and couldn't get both ears lol

I wore mine off and on and haven't worn earrings in about 8 years and still have a hole. Not in the back but in the front the back is the only part that closed up @rylansmomma

I got my daughters ears pierced when she was 2 months old. Because they don't mess with them when they're that young which also means they won't get infected from them pulling on them. I don't think my daughter has gone a day in her life without some cute earrings in 😊.... She's 20 yrs old now

My mom works in preschool and there was a little boy that had a tattoo. But I'm a little confused where that came from. @ariesbaby16

My comment came from the comment above about seeing parents put tattoos on children. That's sick and the parents should be reported!
