I prefer with the epidural. Without you focus so much on the pain that you aren't able to relax and enjoy the experience of childbirth

I had it kind of both lol... So I went I tk preterm labor and felt nothing I was in full blown hard core labor and felt great. But they tried and stop my dilation and then restart it and the pain was unbelievable. I broke and got an epidural lol. Best. decision. Ever. If I go naturally and have to pain I'm going to try natural but baby if the give me pitocin you better believe I'm getting that epidural lol.

I had an epidural for the first time with my son and would Do it again with this baby I got to enjoy the birth it was amazing!

@jessicahartze, from what I remember I was Ok the nurses just kept a close eye on me in case I got light headed.☺

@mommytofour, I had preeclampsia with my twins... so I don't remember anything.. I had my pain meds, an epidural, 3 oxycontin for my headache... and mag sulfate for my bp... I didn't get to enjoy anything... but I've heard that all natural is better because you can feel what you're doing a lot better :/ so I am just stuck... haha

@mama yes natural is better but the pain with my son was nothing compared to my daughters lol with them I went natural but if this birth is like my daughters I wont need it but if its like my sons I have to get it 😄

i had my son with epidural and my daughter without im not gonna lie it hurtsmore when pushing but i feel more confidenr about myself after experiencing labor with no meds or epidural just gotta push ypur self thru it :)
