I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day weekend! 💘 (Remember, if you go out to eat, please make sure to tip your server. At the end of the day, we have to tip out our food runner, bartender, and busser out of the money we are given as 'tip'. So, when you leave a server $0.00, you're also stiffing three other people as well. I know everyone goes somewhere "nicer" for the holiday, so, please understand - tipping is not mandatory, but it's customary.) ❌⭕️❌⭕️

@spacekitty0426, it's appalling just how many people think tipping is just some thing extra. "Get a real job". But really, this IS a real job. We make good money...that is, until we have to wait on people like them.

it is a real job. we provide a desired service. and its not easy either. most of the time people are nice but then its that 25 percent of shitty people who are rude and treat you like crap because they know they can. its messed up. it is a skill, you have to know how to multi task have people skills balance heavy trays get triple sat during a rush just to keep everyone happy. but reality is you cannot make everyone happy. hopefully you leave with enough money at the end of the day to make it worth it. waitressing is not a joke.

@spacekitty0426, amen! You're absolutely right! I have found that different parts of the county are worse than others. Down in Southern California I made the best money. The Midwest was middle ground. Not amazing / not bad. And then Northern California is the WORST I've ever seen. I swear, everyone should have to work in food service for at least one month of their lives.

oh damn I agree. when I lived on the outskirts of Atlanta Georgia that was the worst clientele I've ever encountered. and in southern NY it was pretty good but kind of snobbish. and up here in nh its good, I think you have your rotten eggs everywhere but some areas definetly suck more. it really is too bad that some people just don't get it. or maybe they do and they are just stingy and mean.
