you could try gripe water. Son gets hiccups all the time also and they make him so upset. The Brooke water doesn't seem to really help him much but it might help your LO.
It bothers you more than it bothers him. My son would constantly get them would bother my husband and I to no end. They eventually get better my son is 3 months on the 16th and only gets them occasionally. I guess as they develop more it gets rid of them. But honestly you don't have to do anything for them. I asked my doctor cuz it was bothering me so much.

The pacifier. The sucking motion helps relieve them. 🤗
