So we just got woken up to a call at 1am from my fiancés work saying " your shift starts at 3am we need you into work at 3am today." instead of 6am, its a good 45 minute drive to his work too.
That means he has to wake up now, to get ready and leave the house at 2am instead of 5am.
Thats bullshit!! they shouldn't be able to do that to force a 12 hour shift, they could've had them work later not call and wake everybody up a few hours after going to sleep to say get your ass to work. This is one time i wish he wouldn't have answered his phone.

I would think it was a policy that they had to give at least a 24 hr notice that how my boyfriend work was and if they didn't give them a 24 hr notice they didn't have to work the whole shift

thats what i thought, i mean we knew he was working Saturday already since he works 7 days a week.

but calling him a few hours after going to sleep, with only an hour to get ready and be out the door is complete bullshit. they should've had to call everyone by like 6pm last night or something, there should be a set time that the company has to call everyone by at night.
