Any moms have a colicky newborn??? What did you do or give your baby to help them through this??? Also how did you cope??? Any advice would be great!!! Thanks y'all!!!
My little one had colic sooooo bad!! It was so awful for her and I!! I had to get the platex drop in bottles. It's like a bag that holds the milk and you squeeze all the air out so there is literally no air. I also used gas drops and they were a lifesaver! I swaddled her and used a white noise machine. The app I have on my phone has a heart beat noise it helped a lot! I also was in and out of her Pediatritians office and come to find out she has a lactose intolerance and acid reflex. She was put on similac alementum and ever since she hasn't had nearly as bad of gas!
sometimes babies cry to try and tire themselves out too.... colic is kinda crazy, but you'll make it through!
I breastfeed, and my daughter had colic from 2-10 weeks. gripe water worked for us sometimes, but I'd always take a stretchy blanket and swaddle her extra tight and rock with her. she'd scream every night around 8pm. usually for about 45min to an hour. the worst was at peak crying age (somewhere between 6-8 weeks) and she screamed for 5 hours.... it's exhausting, but it's not forever. 10-12 weeks is usually the end. I just had a lot of patience.... and cried a little sometimes when I got too frustrated, it actually kinda helped
simplynoise.com helps. Figure out which your LO likes best out of the white, pink, or brown noise and play that. Might help.
SWADDLE SWADDLE SWADDLE!
