Ok so I am pregnant with my first (: but my husband had a son before he was with me .
how can we prepare my step son for being a big brother . He isn't with us full time so we don't want him feeling like his dad doesn't love him he is currently 3 but will be almost 4 when the baby arrives.
so far he does not like the idea of being a big brother at all .

My sister did it where her daughter got a special gift "from the baby". She got a little gift bag with Chapstick (her favorite), pony tails, stickers, and candy! It was a good way to introduce the baby that was she didn't feel left out and it really worked. Since your worried about him not feeling loved by his dad then maybe the baby and daddy can get him a gift that was its extra special😊

She also tried to make it where her daughter got to help with the baby all the time like getting wipes or picking out the baby's outfit that way she felt apart of everything!
