Do you have to wait to have your baby to eat lactation cookies? I would love for my milk to come in…

my counsiler at wic said the first day or two its ok for them to just drink the colostrum cause their stomachs are so small

Oh ok with my first he seemed so hungry like he wasn't getting anything so we gave him formula the last day in the hospital and he killed the bottle I think he was just greedy tho lol he's always been greedy cuz he's very active @karebear2014

I was told and read that babies need the colostrum first because it has antioxidants and other nutrients the baby needs. But you should probably ask your Dr Before you do anything.

Lol yeah I'm only 9 1/2 weeks but when i went to wic I was asking questions cause I want to breast feed but I was worried about the same thing. you can call wic and ask them questions a lot of those lady's are really nice

definitely dont. they need the colostrum first. they really have tiny tiny tummys and the colostrum is what helps their immune systems with everything thats in it. i asked and ive heard others ask about helping produce milk before. your body knows when its time to produce the milk and baby should get the colostrum

plus if your body decides it can still come in on its own like right before baby gets here.
