Will My Partner Bond with Our Baby Despite Pregnancy Struggles?

My OH rarely did this to my bump :) I never forced him to touch it or ask him to :) Always let him do what he felt comfortable with :) I knew he loved our child without having to do all the touchy bump stuff :) Look at this pic...you can tell he adores her. He was talking to her while I was getting my blood transfusion sorted out. So don't worry hun! The bond will be there! xxx

@winterbaby95, i know he loves her, it's just worrying when he actually says its because she's made me so ill. This has made me feel so much better though thank you 😊 how lovely! He looks very much in love. Congratulations and I hope you're recovering well xx

@lou Awe, It must be a protective thing :) No man likes to see the woman they love ill and in pain! As long as he isn't blaming the baby then its all good...If he doesn't want to touch or talk to her...maybe tell him when she moves etc :) That is what I did with my OH..made him curious after awhile :) he started to ask if she was moving/awake. I think by telling them what they are doing inside is another way of bonding...because they can't feel it...(unless they put their hands on our stomach) only we can :) Just another way to get him involved so he doesn't feel left out :) xx

@winterbaby95, That's true :) I try to show him when she's moving, he just looks and looks away. He is a man of few words though, so there are probably alot more positive emotions and feelings than he lets on. He's very all about me and taking care of me so hopefully when I feel better he will have more time to worry about the baby. xx
