Okay, I keep seeing people saying how they had to go to the hospital to stop preterm labor. I'm freaked out about that. How do you know if it's happening to you? Like what are the signs?

I went into labor at almost 20 weeks. I was given a shot to stop labor and still dilated to a 4. Had my boys at 20 weeks 1 day. I just had a feeling that something wasn't right, and then started bleeding the same day. Had a healthy pregnancy up until then.

I had a really tight stomach high blood pressure I was having alot of contractions and dialated to a 3 at 34 weeks I'm now 36 and still haven't had my baby so everyone is different

@julymomma16, I felt something wasn't right after intercourse with my now husband. I started with irregular contractions and bleeding and about 30 minutes after arriving at the hospital, I went into full blown labor. I was in preterm labor for 13 hours, was sent home after they stopped it, less then 24 hours later, ended up back in l&d with a temp of 105 and had her via emergency c section at 32 weeks
