Just because a child looks sick doesn't always mean they truely are. My daughter is an example of this. She gets random fevers with no other symptoms and doctors have told me many times as long as she is staying normal energy she is fine to go to school or do whatever! Tummy troubles doesn't always mean illness either, most time it is simply she has ate or drank to much of something and her stomach is having hard time digesting it. Yes, if my child is sick she stays home but if i no she isnt sick an its a normal day i inform teacher so they no to watch if a new symptom appears bc her stomach defect. I swear people are to judgemental now days.

@azaleajade927, exactly! I mean if ur child feels up to it and u think they r ok, send em. besides when they get older n work least u no they won't b crying n staying home constantly with a sniffle.
I remember when I was in elementary school, it was a couple months before the school year ended my pollen allergies made my throat really dry and so I was drinking a lot of water. The, less than brillant, teacher called an ambulance and cps saying I was dehydrated and not given water outside of school...
there is a time to keep your kids home but not a common cold. that's how immune systems get strong!
I guess, I mean allergies make u look sick sometimes doesn't mean u shouldn't b at school. u can even be contagious without fever to. @bianca_rose @courtney.emond
