I just give my son whatever I'm eating usually unless it's junk food.

otherwise I'll give him hotdogs (skinned and diced), fruits (bananas, cooked skinned apples, peaches, pears, ect all diced), bread, pringles, pretzels, cookies, cheetos, mac n cheese, diced cooked ham, green beans, peas, cooked carrots, ect.

It really depends on what your baby can handle. My son can eat things like Pretzels and chips with no issue but sometimes he chokes on green beans (because of the skin).

My son was and is a very big noodle boy. he was eating noodles at 9 months. he absolutely loves them. he is now. 15 months (:

My son was like that at first but he's gotten alot better. I would just give him something you know he can gum up and only one diced piece at a time and offer him drinks between bites. I kind of let my son figure out what he could and couldnt handle on his own (with supervision of course), if he coughed I'd let him work with it a second but if he was actually choking of course help him but he's only actually choked once and it was because I gave him an orange slice and didn't think about the skin being an issue.

I was told that whatever I give my son, I should be able to squish it up and swallow it using only the roof of my mouth and tongue, no teeth. If I could do it then he could do it.
