I am not very pleased with my wic appointment. I had to take a pg class and all she was talking about was breastfeeding and nothing about
Formula. I'm a big supporter of breastfeeding but I also believe that there is no wrong way to feed your baby whether it's from the breast or bottle. She should have at least been fair and talked about formula but no. What about the people that may not be able to breastfeed are you going to still try to guilt trip them about bottle feeding! Ugh!!! Sorry had to rant.

When I did that class, I was the one forcing them to talk talk about both. I was unable to breast feed with my son but going to give it another try with my daughter. Don't think it's fair to only talk about breast feeding, both get the baby the nutrition and vitamins they need to grow and they are being fed. Neither one in my option is better than the other

exactly why I don't attend those classes, whenever I go I ask for a sheet of paper to do a class online. they're such bullshit classes and the "nurses" try to guilt trip you into breastfeeding. I was not impressed with how they talked about it when I went, I never went again.

@their.bomb.ass.mom, exactly how I felt my husband was trying to have me speak up but I was just so uncomfortable and felt so guilty about breastfeeding for only six weeks and switching to formula after I knew I would go into a rant. @kerragannicole I told my husband when we left if there going to stand there and talk about feeding they need to talk about both it's not right to the mothers that can't breastfeed. Both kinds is extremely important as the other

my daughter was pretty much formula fed since day one, I tried, I could've tried harder but I was so exhausted, I felt awful for it but my daughter was fed regardless. One time my daughter was crying uncontrollably while we were still in the hospital, and I had no idea what to do, besides feed her which she did not want to latch, I asked the nurse to bring a bottle by and she gave me a dirty look and asked if I was even trying to breastfeed her. I almost screamed. I know that's off topic of you post but I'm such a big advocate of fed is fed. rather breast or formula. Everyone acted like I didn't love my child enough to breastfeed her and I hated it.
