It's not bad even though I just failed my 1 hr test. You have too drink this real sugary liquid that taste like a flat soda that's extremely sweet. I had orange flavor. You have too sit there after an hr and they will draw your blood too see if you passed or not.
It's usually done in the second trimester. I had mine done around 24 weeks I believe. It's really not that bad. I did get a little nauseous afterwards but that's about it. You have like 5 min to drink the small bottle then wait an hour to get your blood drawn.

its not bad you drink a drink wait an hour and get blood drawn just make sure you keep the drink down or you have to go back another day
