Been losing my mucus plug since 16 weeks! Only wee tiny bits but today I wiped and lost a huge amount! Not blood tinged…

Not bloody at all! I have a pic but wasn't sure wether to post or not Iv had it since 16 weeks but nothing like the amount I had today! I have a short cervix so freaking out a bit! A midwife who I'm now close to (not my actual midwife) went up to maternity assesment to speak to them said Iv to monitor it and see if I get any cramping xx

@cmcdon203 Plugs can regenerate as long as there's no blood etc :) If you are concerned deffo monitor it and go into hospital if you feel different. Try not to worry though, relax and stay calm :) xx

Defls no blood just got a shock as its never been that much before @winterbaby95 Iv maybe overdone it past 2 days! Been on my feet a lot it was weird I don't know if she's maybe knocked my cervix a bit as I felt her kick my cervix then felt that come out me xx

@elouu1993, @winterbaby95 phoned maternity assesment just for peace of mind said if I have no contractions no blood staining and no watery discharge it's completely fine ! Thank god I was getting worked up panicking xx

@cmcdon203, can I ask what the mucus plug looks like? I went to the loo this morning and always have clear discharge and had some white there instead but wasn't smelly and it was only there once. I'm not concerned about it but was wondering if that's what it could be. I have no idea what I was looking for Haha. Xx

@stacey804, White is totally fine my normal discharge is clear/milky colour! My mucus plug is clear/yellow bit like a huge glob of jelly or as if uv blew ur nose and u get a big bogey lol! Not nice but it's how it is! But mucus plug with blood pink or brown tinge is usually start of labour to come! Xx

I'm used to clear, so it took me by surprise but was only a small amount. I've noticed after 20 weeks that my discharge has increased but tmi, my bladder doesn't like to gold itself these days so I have to wear a panty liner! Feel like a 90 year old haha. But definitely no pink or brown. Thank you 😊😊 it's better to ask someone who's going through it, my mam is like I can't remember it was 23 years ago she was pregnant so this is all new to her again. Xx

@stacey804, my mum is same really pisses me off 😡😡! I ask her everything and she says I can't remember! Ye mines increased a lot around 20w then calmed down again now it's increased again! The joys but it's good to see its not a dodgy colour xx
