How well does heating breastmilk under hot water work?

really well!i do it all the time.

@beckahhkathleen, @siahsmom do u warm it up in the bag or bottle? how fast does it work?

i warm mine in a bag (those breastmilk stoarge bags) its takes 5 mins if frozen about 2 mins if refrigerated.

that's how I was told to do it, I get a big cup (usually the one they gave while in the hospital lol) and put hot water in it and stuck the bottle in there (was told in the nicu to make sure it gets up to close to your body temp since if nursing that's the temp it comes out at)

@sarahdrew, i normally use a bottle warmer but im out of town and forgot it.

@sarahdrew, thanks.we were anywhere near hot water.so i but the bottle in my bra under my boobs.then i put it between my legs.😂😂i think its room temp,if not,its not far from it
