hi ladies, so I need some advice/comforting words. I went to the urgent care Sunday afternoon and I tested positive for the flu. so I went home Sunday evening I got so much worse, I started vomiting. I went to bed woke up Monday still vomiting. so my husband left work at 12 and made me go to ER. They gave me an IV of fluids and said my potassium is extremely low and gave me 4 potassium pills and a bag of potassium through IV. doctor comes in listens to my belly asks me if I've ever had a miscarriage, I told him no. he freaked me out. so they sent me home with an antibiotic told me to continue tamiflu. I've had a sore throat and awful cough and stuffy nose. I go to my OB tomorrow. should I be worried about a miscarriage? I'm not feeling any better but I'm not worse it's hitting me very hard

don't stress about it girl I went to the hospital for a gallbladder attack and they asked me if I ever miss carried and scared me too when I asked him why he would ask me that he said because they need to knkw that information because if you have they try to refrain from any medicines needed to be given so he was probably checking before he gave you potassium and as long as ur staying hydrated your baby will be ok
let me know your out come just know I'm praying for the best for you
my OB won't give me zofran because of the side effects it can cause baby. the phenegran is only 12.5 milligrams and it helps tremendously but it just wasn't doing it Sunday and Monday I was too sick. @jlspoores
@jlspoores, thank you so much! we need all the prayers we can get. I'm taking phenegran but this wasn't pregnancy vomiting. they say it was either flu vomiting or I had a virus. I've never gotten sick like that in my life. bless my husbands heart I threw up all over the bed. poor guy. :(
I'll be praying for you two I know I was very scared when I got that sick my son is my world and I would be a mess if I lost him and so would his daddy so I am prying and wishing you get better if you keep throwing up I would talk to the Dr about medicine for nausea my Dr put me on some and it works wonders for me @mrshayslip14

I sure hope everything is okay and my little jelly bean is okay and healthy. I know I've lost so much weight I've been so sick and unable to eat I've been pushing fluids though @gypsy.soul2
@gypsy.soul2, I don't trust the medical doctors around here they don't care about their patients. I'm going 45 mins away to an OB. I just don't trust them. they are quacks. I didn't want to go to ER and had I not been pregnant I wouldn't have.
I'm farther along than u but I had the same thing happen to me and my baby is as healthy as can be
they would've told you if you were at risk.. it's their duty. even the slightest risk they tell you.. well, they should. baby is very protected in its amniotic sac and very resilient too. try not to stress too much!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
Why Are Many Women Unaware of Their Own Anatomy?
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.

Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
