I really am considering quitting my job after my horrible shift today. They were so mean to me all day today. I actually cried. I wasn't allowed to sit down when I got dizzy and Whenever I called for backup or a manager nobody would come and help me, they ignored me when I tried to talk to them, and they would talk bad about me and make rude remarks if I asked someone to do anything. I got yelled at for not putting back the returns but I couldn't because nobody was at the register but me. And I got yelled at for clocking out two minutes early. When I got a chance I finally just sat down behind the register and cried. I can't even tell a manager because it was the managers doing it, too! And one of my managers works for corporate also so they won't do anything either. I know they're doing it on purpose to push me out bc I'm pregnant and a liability, and normally I would just persevere and keep my head up, but they were so mean to me that I actually cried and that is really saying something.

I would still report it because that's discrimination against someone just because they're pregnant and just flat out wrong ! I would write a letter and send it to corporate. Sorry you had to deal with that smh..

@kaydenlwmommy, honestly, every retail place does it. They can't flat out fire you for being pregnant, so they try to slowly push you out bc you're a liability and probably won't be coming back after the baby is born anyway, especially being part time. You're just dispensable to them. Corporate probably won't do anything; it took them almost 2 months to even acknowledge that I was pregnant and had restrictions. The entire company is awful and all the managers and employees have to say is that it's not because I'm pregnant or that it didn't happen and the whole thing will be overlooked. it happened to another pregnant employee.

@emily18234, Yes and no. Our HR is composed of store managers and a couple of other people, and 2 of my managers are on that team.

just quit... it's just a part time job. it's not a career.. if it makes you that miserable then you are just wasting your valuable time being miserable... try applying at daycares... yes it's hard work and beyond stressful. but more rewarding than any retail job ever will be.

@littlemissrainesmommy, I'm in school for early childhood education so I've been applying at daycares here and there. :) My only thing is most of those are full time and my school schedule makes me unable to do them. :/

aww, yeah. it's hard to get a part time position in daycare :/ but I definitely think that you should quit your current job... it's really not worth the stress they are putting on yoj
