I woke up Saturday morning at 7:30 bc i was all wet, i went to get up to go to the bathroom only to gush water from my bed to the toilet. I knew my water broke about the second gush bc theres no way it could have pee at this point. So, i woke up my boyfriend & said "babe my water just broke" & his response is "are you fucking with me?" Lmao. We got ready, & in the mean time called my mom & his grandma. We got to the hospital about 8:30, & they immediately admitted me bc by the time i got to the birth center i was soaked in water lol. When i first got there they checked me & i was only dilated 1cm. They wanted me to labor on my own from 830-1230 before they considered anything. At 1230 i was at a 2, still very comfortable only slightly cramping. So they started Pitocin at 1pm, by 330 i was in agonizing pain & they checked me i was 3 1/2 so they gave me the epidural. I labored for a good 5 hours before I started to feel the pain again. They kept giving me medicine, trying to get me comfortable but the pressure i was feeling was so bad. At 530am Sunday morning, i woke up from an hour long nap & started feeling pain worse than i had felt all day. At this point i was screaming & crying begging for someone to take the pain away. I was not progressing past 7cm so they decided to give me an emergency c section. The anesthesiologist came in to give me medicine but nothing was working. They gave me 7 different pain medications before i was numbed enough for them to cut me open. But i was so drugged up that I don't remember seeing my baby for the first time, or kissing her & i still felt the pain of them stretching me open to get her out. But alas, Annabelle was born at 7:25am weighing 9lbs 10oz & I didn't even meet her til about 3 hours later. But she is so perfect i wouldnt change anything for the world 😍😍😍
