Girl it's your hair, but I wouldn't do it lol. I was in your same spot not long ago and chopped it off. Regretted it every day. Thanking God that it's finally grown back lol. Do what makes you happy though.

Have them take some weight out of your hair. it will lighten it up and not make it feel so heavy. I need to do the same. I would rather have theb option to put up my hair then have it too short and cant do much with it.

@cubanmommy26, @lumbeemama I have an app that I downloaded to put my pic in it with the different styles. and I found one I like but it's way different then what I have always had. I don't want a color just a cut.

It's definitely gonna feel better and be more convenient to deal with...especially with having kids. Just make sure you commit to it if it's something you decide to do.

I want to breastfeed again and when I did my daughter it was always in the way. even in a pony. I think that's why I want to cut it this time @lumbeemama

@jennyrose1145, I don't have time to let my hair down. it's always in a ponytail cuz it's just always in the way and even in a pony it covers my boobs.

I cut mine off right after I had my daughter and have regretted it ever since! it grows sooo slow. yours is beautiful!, I wouldn't cut too much off. maybe a trim? :)

then you'd probably be ok, can still do a pony at least. :) I went too short when I did mine and then it was more of a hassle to style because I couldn't do a pony.

As a hair stylist, my opinion is just to make sure you really consider it before making your final decision... 90% of the time people make impulse decisions on cutting their hair and just end up regretting it completely. Also a lot of people think shorter hair is easier to maintain but sometimes depending on the texture and wave pattern of your hair it's not... I have normally stick straight hair and got sick of it long and just chopped it and instantly regretted it because it would awkward flip out in weird ways and wouldn't all fit in my pony or bun and then I'd have to flat iron or style it every day.... But also not to mention most mommys end up losing a lot of hair after birth anyways!! Just a few things to think about before you go for it! Maybe start slow and cut off a few inches and get some layers!

@aliyah_a, I have a natural wave to my hair and it's thick and heavy. I have had it to my shoulders before and liked it. I just want to go a little shorter then that. enough where I can still throw it up if need be. but I constantly have it in a pony and can't do anything with it cuz it's to heavy and nothing holds. and I'm damaging it by it being in a pony and I'm tired of the knots that take forever to get out and that I have to ask my husband to help brush it cuz it's getting to long for me to do it. and I'm beginning to hate it.
