if the dad of your child doubt's your child should he be at appointments and the birth?

I mean if he doubts your child why would he want to be there...? that's how I look at it

my dad and I have a funny feeling that my future MIL is gonna request a paternity test... I swear if she does they're never gonna see their grandson

I'm in the same situation, I'm just doing the paternity test but told him his family isn't allowed there however I allow him to be because he is the father and I want my baby to know his dad, that's just how I handled it be strong mama!

Idk if my bf or the guy i was with right before is the father and my bf has hone to a few of the appt. My advice and again its my opinion is if he wants to go let him, if its his you dont want to deprive him of that bondung time. If its not then hopefully he will have created a bond to were he can accept this child and treat you and your child properly after its here

@mollyjaydesmommy, I understand! His kids have him convinced this isn't his child! I've raised 2 wonderful boys alone and if need be I'll raise this one as well. what do I have to prove to any of them?

@mollyjaydesmommy, I am currently going through custody bullshit with my daughter's biological father and he refused to be at any of my appointments and missed her birth just to be told after the paternity test that all of his friends and family lied to him and I don't feel bad that my daughter has been bonding with my husband since before she was born and not her biological father.

@mamanelson23, how does the whole custody thing work did you get a lawyer?

The question is, can he live with himself knowing he wasn't there for those important moments?

Well it's something I think he'll regret missing regardless of whether he believes it's his. Because when the paternity test says positive, he'll be so relieved that he didn't treat you poorly.

Thats what my bd said to he brought up takin a dna test when the baby comes out and everything , but hes 3 hrs away , i know hes not fit enough so if my bd were to ever take me to court i would let him , but my thing is , he wants to deny the baby while its in my tummy dont try to except him/her whenever the baby gets here you know , im not even letting him sign the b.c
