I think about this morning and I'm mad. lady in her late 50s was left at the e.r and nobody would bring her home. she had pneumonia and copd plus other issues and I witnessed a man hell at her saying she can't stay there anymore in the waiting room to find a ride or walk. her bf wouldn't answer the phone or talk to her when he answered when she used my phone. he hung up saying its not his problem. before they pushed her out I told them if she can sit there another 30 min I'll bring her home the nurse got an attitude with me about how long she been there and I said it was no big deal I have an appt but when I'm done I'll bring her. I watched her cry she had no money for a cab or food or anything and was there from 6pm until 1030 when I brought her home. they expected her to walk!! she would of been right back if she had. she cried when she got in my car apologizing for not having money for gas or anything. it's not her fault at all. I told her it was no big deal I couldn't see her walking from the e.r. across state border. her son was on his way but he lives 6 hrs away and didn't know she was there. he was coming to visit for a bit. this poor lady told me so much stuff about her life and what she had been through I wanted to cry. thank god she's home and can rest. but I'm still upset they were that mean to her. who does that!!??
