@kelsicutie, your mom is a liar. I just got medicaid and they will cover up to three months back in medical bills and for the rest of your pregnancy plus the baby will be automatically on it too once it's born.

If you mess up your Medicaid paper work and get denied you can automatically re apply.. It is now actually against the law to not have health insurance of some kind that's why if you went without health insurance this year you will have to pay a penalty tax when you do your taxes so yes you can get insurance @kelsicutie you should do the paper work yourself so you can be sure it is being handled correctly

Try Medicare they supposed to give free insurance to pregnant women no matter what

You're old enough to get it on your own. You shouldn't need her to do it. I promise they'll make an exception for you.

Don't just take her word for it. Do your own paperwork and see the worker yourself.

Medicaid? most hospitals have a charity you can sign up for after something like that.. I had an all natural labor with our first with no insurance. it cost me $1026. @kelsicutie
